The fourth of the Albania LSMS, and the third wave of the panel survey, this survey consisted of a panel of the 2002 survey participants; it included approimately half of the households surveyed in the 2002 LSMS. The sample was nationally, but not regionally representative.
The 2004 survey was a shortened version of the 2002 survey, but it included some questions not included in the 2002 or the 2003 survey. Also, many of the health questions excluded in 2003 were reintroduced.
