Summary
The Gambia Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey 2018 is part of MICS round six. It collected data about various indicators health indicators. The survey included six questionnaires: households, water quality, women (ages 15-49), men (ages 15-49), children under five (completed by the mother or caretaker for every eligible child), children ages 5-17 (completed by the mother or caretaker for one randomly selected eligible child in each household).
A total of 7,405 households were successfully interviewed for this survey. This included 13,640 women, 4,522 men, 9,907 children under 5, and 5,696 children 5-17.
