Summary
The purpose of theĀ India National Anti-tuberculosis Drug Resistance Survey was to collect data on the prevalence of anti-tuberculosis drug resistance from patients enrolled in the study. A total of 5,280 new and previously treated pulmonary TB patients were selected from sputum smear-positive diagnosis, and drug-susceptibility testing was performed on 4,957 of those patients.
