Summary
Behavioral surveillance surveys (BSS) are cross-sectional surveys that provide information on the HIV/AIDS-related knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors of vulnerable sub-populations. The 1998 Nepal BSS tracked female sex workers, male transportation workers, male labor force (industrial workers, migrant workers, police, and rickshawalas), and male students.
