Kyrgyzstan National Population Census 1999 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic and health-related topics as well. The 1999 Kyrgyzstan de jure census collected data through face-to-face interviews on the subjects of housing, household demographics, employment, education, migration, and fertility. The census day was March 24, 1999, and fieldwork continued until March 31. A 10% sample of households and persons from the census (476,886 individuals in private and selected households only) is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota. Refer to the IPUMS website for guidelines on citing database versions.
