Summary
This population inter-censal survey is part of the China census program. The survey covered approximately 17 million people in all 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions. It utilized a stratified multi-stage cluster sampling process and used a questionnaire modified from the 2000 census. The survey tables contain statistics on population, household size, births, deaths, education, employment, housing, migration, the elderly, and number of people without siblings.
