Summary
The purpose of the 2011 Al Hudaydah Nutrition Survey Among Under 5 Children was to investigate the levels of nutrition and malnutrition present in children ages 0-59 months, and to provide recommendations to combat malnutrition. Data were collected from 3,104 households through in-person household interviews and anthropometric measurements taken from 4,668 children.
The survey also included a household questionnaire and a child questionnaire. The questionnaires covered topics such as household characteristics and deaths, infant and child feeding practices, immunization, Vitamin A supplementation, food security, and coping behaviors.
