Dominican Republic National Multipurpose Household Survey 2015
General Info
The purpose of the Dominican Republic National Multipurpose Household Survey conducted in 2015 was to gather data in order to create current national indicators of progress toward the Millennium Development Goals, to know more about household demographic characteristics, migration trends, to understand the population's use of and access to various technologies, to estimate the number of individuals living with disability, and to learn about small businesses. The data were collected through in-home interviews. A total of 105,913 individuals from 34,224 households were interviewed during this survey.
The main themes of the interview included housing conditions, household member demographics, disability, small business operation, and access to the internet, cellphones, and computers. The questionnaire contained a special thematic module on ctizen secuirity and victimization.
