Summary
The 2015 Sierra Leone Population and Housing Census was conducted by Statistics Sierra Leone in December, 2015. It was the fifth modern census conducted since independence in 1963, and also included questions on the impact of the Ebola virus in households. The total population at the time of the census was 7,092,113, a 42.5% increase since 2004.
