Summary
Current Renal Replacement Therapy in Korea is a yearly registry report that presents data on end stage renal disease (ESRD) in South Korea. The data are collected by the Korean Society of Nephrology (KSN) through the Insan Memorial Dialysis Registry, an online registry program where dialysis centers throughout the country can enter ESRD data.
For 2015, 87,014 patients received renal replacement therapy (RRT), based on the reporting of 846 RRT facilities, representing 67.1% of all RRT facilities in South Korea.
Additionally, data on the demographics, co-morbidity, causes of death, and survival rates of dialysis patients are provided.
