Summary
The Uganda Malaria Operational Plan 2011 proposes Uganda's plan for malaria prevention, treatment, and reduction of mortality for 2011. The plan is a requirement for countries participating in and receiving funding from the President's Malaria Initiative, a program financed by the United States Government that targets malaria prevention in sub-Saharan countries. The report offers a brief summary of the malaria situation in Uganda as of 2006, and discusses the previous malaria control strategic plan as well as the proposed one. The report includes chapters on goals and targets, expected results, treatment and prevention interventions, and public-private partnerships among many others.
