Summary
This survey, also known as the Vietnam Household Living Standards Survey 2008 or VHLSS, monitored and evaluated the Comprehensive Poverty Reduction and Growth Strategy, the Millenium Development Goals (MDGs) and Vietnam's socio-economic development goals. A household questionnaire and a commune questionnaire were used to survey the population on topics such as education, health and health care, employment, income, expenditures, housing conditions, and poverty.
