Greenland Health Behavior in School-Aged Children Survey 2014

The Health Behavior in School-Aged Children (HBSC) survey has been conducted in Greenland every four years since 1994. The 2014 survey was the 6th round. The purpose of this survey was to monitor health status, health behavior, and health influencing factors of the youth. The theme of the 2014 survey was support experienced by the youth from teachers and classmates. The data were collected with self-completed questionnaires. The questionnaire covered the topics of alcohol, smoking, drugs, physical activity, diet, bullying, body image, health, and quality of life. The questionnaires were administered in 42 schools, and completed by 1,888 children ages 11-17.
