Finland Health Survey 2011-2012
General Info
The Finland Health Survey of 2011-2012 covers a variety of health-related topics such as dietary habits, blood pressure, physical activity and mobility, allergies, sleep, smoking habits, mental and emotional welfare, and living habits. The survey report also describes an overall improvement in health and lifestyle in the general population. Fieldwork was carried out through surveys, interviews, and questionnaires. If individuals were unable to participate in the health examination or were unwilling to partake in a home visit, telephone interviews were conducted. The survey follows the Finland Health Survey 2000 implemented in 2000-2001. The 2011 survey re-interviewed participants from the 2000 survey, as well as included a new cross-sectional sample of young adults aged 18-29 years.
