Summary
The Castile-Leon Cardiovascular Risk Factors Study - Baseline Study 2004 aimed to estimate the prevalence of the most common cardiovascular risk factors affecting the region. Data were collected on sociodemographic characteristics, risk factors, and health histories of participants, and anthropometric measurements were taken. The sampling frame consisted of residents age 15 and older covered by the local public health insurance. A total of 4,012 residents participated in the study. Tables in the report are aggregated by gender, health district, age groups, and type of area.
Follow-ups to this study were conducted in 2009 and 2014.
