Greenland Population Health Survey 2014
General Info
This population health survey of Greenland, also called Population Investigation in Greenland: Living Conditions, Lifestyle, and Health, is a follow-up to the population surveys done in 1993-1994, 1999-2001, and 2005-2010. The purpose was to gather information on health, morbidity, living conditions, and lifestyle, to analyze and compare with previous survey results. Data were collected with interviews, self-completed questionnaires, clinical studies, anthropometric measurements, and blood tests. The following data collection instruments were included in the data collection process: CAGE, long IPAQ, revised Food Frequency Questionnaire, and GHQ-12. Diet, smoking, alcohol, and physical activity were given special focus as subjects included in Inuuneritta II, the Greenland Public Health Program 2013-2019. There were a total of 2,122 participants.
