Ethiopia Population and Housing Census 1994 - IPUMS
General Info
Censuses provide population numbers, household or family size and composition, and information on sex and age distribution. They often include other demographic, economic, and health-related topics as well. The 1994 Ethiopia Population and Housing Census collected data through face-to-face interviews. The census day was October 10, 1994 for all regions except Afar and Somali. Afar was enumerated July 22, 1996 and Somali was enumerated September 11, 1997. A 10% sample fraction of households from the census (5,044,598 individuals) drawn from the original 20% sample is available through IPUMS International at the University of Minnesota.
