Summary
The purpose of this survey was to collect data in order to establish indicators on the prevalence of use of particular drugs. The study sought to develop these indicators in order to predict trends and to compare data to previous rounds of the survey in order to develop interventions. The target audience was persons aged 15-64 years in urban and rural areas throughout Spain.
The data were collected through in-person interviews in the home and self-completed questionnaires. The main themes of the questionnaires were opinions on use, behavior, and the amount of use of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs. Some sociodemographic questions were also included. This study collected information from 27,934 individuals.
