Summary
The 2014 Georgia Census of Population and Housing was conducted by the National Statistics Office of Georgia, via in-person enumeration. Data were collected from household members on various demographic and socioeconomic topics, and a separate agriculture questionnaire was also included. In total, the Census covered 82% of the country, as enumeration could not take place in the occupied territories of Abkhazia and South Ossetia. The total 2014 population of Georgia was enumerated at 3,713,804.
