Summary
The 2005 Census of Population and Housing in Cameroon was conducted by the Central Bureau of the Census and Population Studies. It was the third census in the country since independence, conducted eighteen years after the second, via in-person enumeration. Data were collected on various demographic and socioeconomic topics of all residents on both a de facto and de jure basis. The total population of Cameroon was enumerated at 17,463,836.
