Summary
The purpose of this survey was to assess oral health and dental health habits in persons aged 15-97 years. The data were collected through computer-aided phone interviews and dental exams. Phone interview participants who stated having some natural teeth were then asked to have an exam with a local dentist trained in a standardized exam procedure for this survey. The survey sample included 14,123 interviews and 5,505 dental exams. The sample contained persons from all states and territories in Australia.
