Summary
The Palestinians in Syria Multiple Indicator Cluster Survey (MICS) 2000 was conducted as part of MICS2. The Palestinians in Syria 2000 MICS provides information on Palestinians in refugees living in Syria. Topics commonly covered in MICS include immunization, education, child and maternal health, family planning and HIV/AIDS. MICS also provides data for tracking progress toward Millennium Development Goals (MDGS), particularly those related to health, education and mortality. The Palestinians in Syria MICS 2000 collected information from householdĀ interviews of women ages 15-49 and caretakers of children under age five. Men were not included in the survey sample.
