Summary
The purpose of this survey was to gather data in order to create current national indicators of progress toward the Millennium Development Goals, to know more about household demographic characteristics, and to investigate access to and use of various technologies. The data were collected through in-home interviews. A total of 17,397 households in all of the regions, including urban and rural areas, were interviewed during this survey.
The main themes of the interview were housing conditions, household member demographics, household economic characteristics, use of government programs, health insurance, retirement, and access to the internet, cellphones, and computers.
