The 2012 Rwanda Comprehensive Food Security and Vulnerability Assessment and Nutrition Survey was the third of this series, with the previous surveys conducted in 2006 and 2009. The purpose of the survey is to gather information on food and nutrition insecurity in Rwanda. Data were collected with a key informant questionnaire and a household questionnaire. The household questionnaire included a section to collect anthropometric measurements from children under five and females of reproductive age, as well as a section on infant and young child feeding practices. A total of 7,498 household households were surveyed, with anthropometric measurements collected from 7,418 females and 4,651 children. 748 key informant interviews were conducted.
