Summary
The Cancer Registry of Republic of Slovenia is a population-based registry that has been active since 1950, and notification has been compulsory since that time. This report provides incidence and mortality tables as well as crude, cumulative, and age standardized rates based on data from the Cancer Registry of Republic of Slovenia, Institute of Oncology in Ljubljana. Graphs display incidence and mortality rates for 1950 to the present. The tables are broken down by sex and 5-year age groups and cancers are coded in ICD-10.
Additional cancer data can be accessed via SLORA, an interactive database that allows comparison of Slovenian data with that of other countries in the European Union.
