Summary
The purpose of the El Salvador Multipurpose Household Survey (EHPM) is to gather data on the socioeconomic and demographic characteristics of households in order to develop indicators to inform programs and services.
Data for the 2010 survey were collected through in-person interviews on the topic areas of employment, education, health care, technology access, crime and safety, and food consumption. The sample size was 19,968 homes which provided a national, urban, and rural representation.
