WHO Global Database on Child Growth and Malnutrition
General Info
The WHO Global Database on Child Growth and Malnutrition is a compilation of growth and malnutrition data from around the world since 1960. Data presented in the database were collected in population-based surveys that fulfill standard criteria. The database is updated continuously with new survey data; updates are published on the WHO website bimonthly.
Data are available in country PDFs from the WHO database home page, or as Excel file downloads via the Nutrition Landscape Information System (NLiS). The database includes data that have been analyzed based on the WHO Child Growth Standards, which replaced the NCHS/WHO international reference in 2006. The historical Global Database on Child Growth and Malnutrition is available separately with country data and references up to 2006.
