Summary
Chile’s National Air Quality Information System (SINCA), an online portal from the Ministry of the Environment, offers a database of current and historical data from air quality monitoring stations around the country. Data is available for each station for each of the pollutants it monitors, which can include particulate matter (PM2.5, PM10), sulfur dioxide, nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide, ozone, and more. Years of coverage vary by station. Measurements – for the entire period the station monitors the pollutant or a duration specified by the user – can be downloaded in PDF, TXT, or CSV file formats.
