Summary
This study was a follow-up to the 1989 Household Food Expenditure and Nutrition Survey (HULK). The purpose of this survey was to gather information on eating habits of Swedish adults between the ages of 18 and 74 years of age.
The data were collected through a self-reported 7-day coded food diary and a self-completed questionnaire. The diary included information such as when the food was consumed, and details of what was consumed, including portion size. The questionnaire asked about height, weight, sociodemographic characteristics, health status, cooking fat, physical activity, and salt added to foods.
