Summary
The Africa Centre Demographic Information System (ACDIS) was established in 2000, covering 438 square kilometers of the Umkhanyakude district in the KwaZulu-Natal province. The system records births, deaths, marriages, and migrations of household members. ACDIS is a member of the INDEPTH network and it utilizes INDEPTH standardized verbal autopsy tools.
