Summary
This report, subtitled "First Comparative Study of Drug Use in the Secondary School Student Population in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay," presents the results of a nine-country study on drug consumption in 14-17 year old students. An extensive sample of 347,771 students from those countries was used for the study. Specific areas of investigation included the use of inhalants, alcohol, tobacco, and non-prescribed tranquilizers and stimulants.
