For the 2016-2017 Nigeria MICS, 34,376 women and 15,183 men ages 15-19 were successfully interviewed from 33,901 households. Additionally, 28,085 questionnaires for children under five were completed. In a subsample of households, water quality testing was conducted for the presence of E. Coli. Coli. A sample of the household cooking salt was taken and analyzed for iodine content, and anthropometric measurements, and blood samples were taken to check for anemia in persons born in 2008 and later.
